Caretaker – Grade 2
Required as soon as possible
Permanent contract, 17.5 hours per week, (working times 14:30-18:00), all year round
Salary Grade: Scale 2 SCP 3 to 4 – £24,796 to £25,185
Ropery Walk Primary School are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and flexible part time Caretaker to become part of our supportive, friendly and committed team.
The successful candidate will be expected to ensure the school site is safe, secure and that the buildings and grounds are maintained, clean and equipment is maintained to a high standard. They will also supervise cleaning staff within the school to ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained at all times.
An experience of premises caretaking, preferably in a school or similar environment is essential. A trade would be very advantageous.
Key duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Opening and locking up of school
- Ensuring school is kept clean
- Porterage
- General Site Maintenance
- Security
- Health & Safety compliance
