Our Eco Warriors are a dedicated group of children who are passionate about protecting the environment and promoting sustainability. They play an important role in helping to keep our school green by championing our Eco Code and encouraging others to make environmentally responsible choices every day.
As well as caring for our school environment, our Eco Warriors strive to be responsible global citizens. They help raise awareness of climate change, encourage positive environmental action, and inspire others to play their part in creating a more sustainable future.
Solar Panel Project
In 2025, our school began working with AECOM LocatED on an exciting project to install solar panels on school buildings. As part of this initiative, all children have worked alongside Solar for Schools and Energy Sparks to learn how our school can reduce energy consumption, promote sustainability, and explore future green careers.
The project has already had a positive impact. With the support and enthusiasm of our Eco Warriors, our school achieved an impressive 2nd place on the Energy Sparks leader board at the end of 2025!
Our Energy Team
Our Eco Warriors play a key role in our new Energy Team, helping to lead the school’s efforts to become even more energy-efficient and environmentally friendly.
The Energy Team are responsible for:
- Reviewing our current energy use
- Creating and reviewing an action plan to reduce energy consumption
- Raising awareness across the wider school community
- Leading campaigns and competitions that inspire positive environmental change
We are excited to continue our sustainability journey and make a real difference to our school and the wider community.
