What we are learning about

The final year in primary school is a very busy one! We will be working very hard to make sure we achieve our full potential.

In Literacy we are reading ‘Holes’ by Louis Sachar. We are using this fabulous story as a stimulus for a range of reading, writing and PSHE activities. We have written diary entries, letters and description already with lots more exciting writing opportunities planned for next half term.

In maths we are working very hard and revising all areas in preparation for our SATs.

In geography we have had great fun exploring Brazil. We have written postcards from Sao Paulo and written reports about amazing animals that live in the Amazon rainforest. We are comparing the climate and weather in Seaham with the climate and weather in Rio de Janeiro. Next half term we will be exploring a place a bit closer to home – Italy!
